Friday 5th June - walk **** – Woodbridge waterfront – sunny periods.

My favourite day of the week, Maeva Friday, Mag goes to pick her up at 10.30 which gave us enough time to have breakfast in the garden and I also do my exercises and pack a picnic before she arrives. I meet her when she arrives with all the usual truck she carries about including her latest artwork canvas from nursery. We bought her a Lidl Flying saucer which we got Arlo for pass the parcel on his birthday and had so much fun with, we were having a great time with it until she nicked her thumb and spent the using one hand saying it was ouchie, she is a bit of a drama queen:)
We then drove over to Woodbridge and managed to squeeze into a parking spot right before the large park near the Sailing Club where the tennis courts are and as it was a little early for lunch we decided to head over to the playground first while I whizzed the flying saucers high into the ait, great fun until I broke it! We had fun on the swings before returning to the van for our picnic lunch, Maeva’s absolute favourite thing to do:) We then got the travel buggy out and walked down across the railway line to the River Deben where Maeva quickly got out and walked the rest of the way! The tide was in and it pretty quiet for a Friday, we stopped to feed a couple of ducks but the swans were on the other side of the river! We reached to lovely tide mill before turning and Maeva insisted on pushing the buggy, such a laugh! We did our best to avoid the dogs on the walk and watched loads of bees, then seflie time at the yacht pond before returning to the park for more fun on the swings and in the large sand pit before the drive home with Maeva nearly dropping off, she was very tired. Then it was cuppa and biscuit time with a few episodes of Peppa Pig before taking her home, another top Maeva Friday, she is a joy to be with !
